Jeff Wang’s Recipes

Fortunate to enjoy my mom’s home cooking growing up, rice, vegetables and some kind of protein was standard in my household. Fruit was typical as well. We also enjoyed our fair share of “junk” food too.

My upbringing helped set a solid foundation for my diet and nutrition which lasted through a phase where I thought it was more economical and efficient to order take-out rather than cook at home. As I started building a daily exercise routine, taking my health more seriously, the intrinsic link between diet and exercise led to an increased interest in cooking. It was a great learning experience and a challenge to practice what I preach volunteering as a Nutrition Docent for 8 years as well.

With all these experiences, plus many duds in the kitchen, my recipe rolodex is slowly growing! It’s a small and amateur level collection of recipes but I believe food can tell a story and these are some dishes that I would like to memorialize and share. In no particular order, recipes I enjoy preparing and eating!
